Welcome to Keys on Wheels. By accessing our website, placing an order, or utilizing our mobile locksmith services (residential, commercial, automotive, or emergency) in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas and surrounding regions, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.
1. Scope of Mobile Locksmith Services
Keys on Wheels is a professional licensed mobile locksmith service. We provide transponder key programming, laser key cutting, key fob replacement, residential rekeying, high-security lock installations, commercial access control, emergency lockouts, and related security services. Our technicians operate directly from mobile service vans dispatched to your location.
2. Service Estimates, Dispatch Fees & Final Pricing
When you call, we provide an initial price estimate based on the description of the lock issue. Upon dispatching a technician to your site, a standard dispatch fee applies to cover transit, fuel, and diagnostic assessment. The final service price may vary based on actual on-site conditions, lock complexity, vehicle make/model, and materials required. The technician will provide a finalized cost before starting the physical work.
3. Job Cancellation Policy
We dedicate professional technicians and vehicles immediately upon booking. If you wish to cancel a service request, you must do so before the technician arrives on-site. Cancellations made after a technician has arrived or is in immediate proximity to the location will result in the default dispatch fee being charged to cover operational costs.
4. Customer Verification & Right of Entry
To ensure security and prevent unauthorized access, you certify that you are the legal owner, tenant, or authorized agent of the property (residential, commercial, or automotive) for which service is requested. Technicians reserve the right to request official government-issued photo identification and proof of ownership/authorization before performing any lock bypass, rekeying, or replacement services.
5. Workmanship Guarantees & Limit of Liability
Keys on Wheels guarantees the quality of our workmanship. Newly installed hardware and locks carry individual manufacturer warranties where applicable. Keys on Wheels is not liable for structural damage, door frame deterioration, or lock mechanisms that fail due to pre-existing wear-and-tear. In emergency bypass scenarios (such as locked keys in vehicle), the technician will exercise professional care but is not responsible for incidental lock body scratches or wear caused by bypass tools with client consent.
6. Governing Law & Licensing
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Keys on Wheels operates under official Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) regulatory licensing: DPS License #B17854401.
